Position Title: Adjunct, Mathematics/Statistics

Department: Mathematics and Statistics

Campus Location: Washburn University

Position Summary: Washburn University's Mathematics and Statistics department invites applications for adjunct positions beginning Fall 2024

Essential Functions:
Teach entry level undergraduate math courses (College Algebra, Contemporary College Mathematics, and/or Statistics). Applicants who are available to teach face-to-face daytime courses are preferred. Interested parties available to teach online (with Kansas residency) or in-person during evening class times may be considered.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics or a closely related field or a master’s degree in another field with 18 graduate credit hours of coursework in Mathematics/Statistics.
The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to pursuing teaching excellence at Washburn University, including a dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage students from all backgrounds.
