Position Summary: Washburn University's Music department invites applications for Adjunct (Applied Clarinet). The position will begin academic year 2025-2026.

Essential Functions:
• Teach Applied Clarinet
• Perform in Faculty WW Quintet
• Perform in Washburn University Faculty Trio
• Teach music courses assigned to fit successful applicant’s qualifications.
• Recruit students and maintain public profile as a performer and teacher.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned or as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:
Doctorate in Music, ABD and Master’s degrees applicants will be considered.
• Earned Master’s degree in Clarinet performance.
• Successful record of Collegiate level teaching, and performance.
• Successful recruiting and retaining of undergraduate music students.
• Demonstrated dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage all learners.
• Official educational transcripts will be required at time of hire.
